Soft colors achieved through pre-dyeing:
Using our original pre-dyed Echizen washi paper “Hanairo Washi,” the milky white color of “lace flowers,” a cloud-like fluttering cluster of tiny petals, is transferred to the washi paper.
[Pre-dyeing] is a manufacturing method in which the fibers are dyed before the paper is spun. Because the dye is applied thoroughly from the material stage, the color is characterized by its deep depth.
