Kaweco manufactured the first metal writing instruments as early as 1905. What was then made of silver or gold-plated brass is now made from the metal aluminum. A high-quality aluminum processed by CNC technology is refined in further processes and thus receives its semi-gloss, hardened surface.
The metallic body made of high-quality aluminum gives this writing instrument its special feel. Its fine surface gives it elegance. Its low weight makes it ideal for traveling. The colors include black, anthracite, silver and light blue, as well as the RAW model, which develops a patina with fine signs of wear particularly quickly thanks to untreated aluminum, and the stonewashed models with a used look in black and blue.
The fountain pen becomes individual with the choice of your desired nib made in Germany. You can choose between five nib sizes: EF – extra fine, for very small and fine handwriting, F – fine, M – medium, B as a slightly wider nib and BB often for large, dramatic signatures. We recommend the spring size M for beginners.
