Astro Boy, one of Osamu Tezuka’s representative works that has inspired many, and a comic that’s suited to be noted as a classic Japanese manga, has turned into a Weeks book.
The front cover shows Astro Boy drawn in red, with a stern expression, just as he flies off. The blue and black stripes add to the energizing feel of this scene. The stars and planets drawn in the background adds a charming touch, as well as making you feel the scale of this scene.
The back cover features a handwritten Astro Boy logo.
The 2021 on the front and spine is foil-printed in a matte silver.
The design is lead by TSDO’s Masako Kusakabe. From years of experience of producing various Hobonichi Techo covers, she created a book that expresses Astro’s speed as he takes off, but also with a cute feel.
When you order this Hobonichi Techo Weeks, you’ll receive a clear, adhesive corner pocket you can stick anywhere you like.
